MICUS Management Consulting is a consultancy firm managed by its owners. The managing directors are Dr. Martin Fornefeld and Jutta Lautenschlager.

Dr. Martin Fornefeld attained a Ph.D. in engineering. After his three-year assistant position at the Technical University of Clausthal with foreign studies in Berkeley (USA) and Asia, he held a management position at Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG.

Subsequently, he was director with joint proxy of an international consultancy firm for nine years and finally partner of the firm before he established MICUS Management Consulting jointly with Jutta Lautenschlager in 2000.

Dr. Fornefeld's expertise lies in the areas of strategy consulting, market studies as well as public-private business models/ partnerships, which he developed substantially in recent years, particularly in the area of geo-data / geo-information.

Dr. Fornefeld is the managing partner of MICUS Management Consulting at its Düsseldorf location.

Jutta Lautenschlager studied economics at the universities of Heidelberg und Princeton (USA) and also at the Technical University of Berlin where she was active for three years as a tutor in the chair for environmental economics.

Before the start of her consultant career, Ms. Lautenschlager worked as a project leader in Berlin at the federal agency for special assignments related to unification (Bundesanstalt für vereinigungsbedingte Sonderaufgaben). In 1997, she moved as an adviser to an international consultancy firm before founding MICUS Management Consulting in 2000 together with her business partner, Dr. Fornefeld.

Ms. Lautenschlager's expertise lies in the areas of organization investigations and e-Government with the focal points "business process modelling" as well as the "introduction of electronic workflow management".
